Question about pain?
I posted this on the main forum but I should have put it here first but this is what I posted:
Hello all I have been sick and with the help of people here I was able to get better after following some great suggestions. Again thank you all for you help. Now another question I had my surgery November of 07 I seem to keep my abdominal mussels tight without thinking about what I am doing I can't seem to relax them is this normal? I have been having pain in my abdomen for about a week now like if I have done about 100 sit up is this normal? I don't want to run to the Dr. for just this and someone here has had this and can get me some info on what to do I think my Dr has enough to do with out this little pain. I just would like to know has anyone had this and does it go away again thank you for your help. I really have to hand it to you guys the help here has been very helpful and no doubt without this web site I would be at my Dr door at least once a week.

Good morning Wheels,
It was my experience that this happened to me for about the first 6 months after surgery. When I start losing weight, I'll tend to suck my stomach in more because I can and that worked my abdomin. Even getting in and out of the car will tighten those muscles. Anything you have to concern about though, you can always call your doctor. Surely you could at least talk to the nurse without having to make an appointment. IF what you are feeling is what I had, it is completely normal.
Good luck man!
