OK Guys.  I'm a little over 7 months out and have been hovering at 192 for several weeks now.  I exercise a lot, but with that I have had an increase in what I eat.  I can't tell you how much I am eating but I think with the snacking and all, it is probably close to 2000 or more calories a day.  I am eating mostly good foods, still haven't had sugar, just eating a lot more these days.  I still want to drop to 180 or 175 and I will not get there eating like this.

To see what I am eating (become more mindful)  and to hold myself accountable, I am starting the Daily plate again.  IT is a pain in the butt for me, but I think it will be helpful.  I need a kick in the pants.

I went through a period like this and after seeing the pounds on the scale hover day after day after day, then I eventually gained 10 pounds and I freaked completely out.  I started using The Daily Plate and it is very interesting to see what types of food are contributing the most to your pitfalls.  Sometimes it is the food you least expect.  I like pork rinds and thought that since they have no carbs and had a little protein, I was doing good.  It's not necessarily bad, but when I finish my second bag, things add up.

Way to get back with it.  Don't get discouraged.  You still have your tool and you can utilize.  Unfortunately bad habits are hard to break, so just take it a day at a time.  Hang in there....

I use the dailyplate religiously, it really keeps me in check, especially when you go out to dinner, some of those meals have huge amounts of calories/fat when you log them later.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Thanks for the comments so far.  One thing I know is how mindless I am when I eat and how I just keep on eating even when I am not hungry.  I also eat rapidly.  Just this little exercise of writing it down helps me slow down and enjoy the food.  I ate half of what I would have eaten without having to record it.

If a lot of it is vegetables and small amounts of fruit, you should be fine...Watch out for the carb monster...He's out to get you.

I wish that is what it was, actually more of protein things like jerky, cheese, and popcorn at night.

I use the plate .  My gym rat periods blow off 900-1000 cals in 2hrs and the plate gives me a bonus.  I am set at 1130 cals per day for a 3.5 lb weekly loss.  With the bonus it may go up 700-900 cals but I never reach the combined cal level.  The best part about the plate is the graphing they do for your carbs, cal, protein etc.   This will get u on track in a hurry.
Good luck
