Good morning y'all.  Time to rise and shine.  Gotta spray them pits and eat those grits.  HA!  Right Dayner D?  Today is going to be a wonderful day!

Our challenge for today is to not get so focused on money that it controls you.  The love of money is the root of all evil.  Boy, do I love money.  We all do.  The point is, do not love it to the point that it overtakes you and causes you to be controlled by it.  People can get so money focused that they lose sight of what is important.  Family is more important than money.  Love is more important than money.  Health is more important than money.  The love of money can cause us to work ourselves into sickness.  The love of money can cause us to become depressed (a lack of it).  Money can cause us to do things we never thought we would do.  The love of money can cause crime.  DO NOT FOCUS ON MONEY!  Don't love money so much that it is all we see.  See the more important things in life.

So, who's up this morning?  What cha sippin' on this morning?  I'm enjoying some wonderful Boca Java Sunrise from my Secret Pal.  Gotta love that Secret Pal of mine.  They KNOW what I like.  I better be careful or I could focus on my "love" for coffee.  HAHAAHA!  NOT!  But I do love it.  Lucy would shoot me if I put coffee before her.  HEHEHEHE

Y'all have a wonderful and LOVE FOCUSED Thursday!!

Good wake up.  Ground some mountain beans and drew 3 cups.Just making out my 2 do list.  Getting lazy these cold days. Oh yea, it cost me MONEY to get those beans.  Money is a medium to trade for things you need or want.   Nothing else - Oh u can burn it to cook and keep warm with. And you build a wing on your local hospital or stock the shelves of the local soup kitchen
It is NEVER EVER how much you make.  Its how you SPEND IT
SO STUFF SOME IN SOMEONE ELSE POCKETS TODAY

I understand the point of your post, but I know some men on our Forum who have to focus on money because they may lose their house, car, or both if they can't get out from the money crunch they find themselves in.  I even know at least one who was contemplating suicide because of his plight.

I ask for all of the men *****ad this to pray for the unnamed men to whom I refer.  They are having a difficult time right now.  Be available to them for emotional and prayer support if they contact you or post on our Forum.  I've never been in that tight a jam and that's only because of blessings I've received.  Bob

It's not the love of money it's the love of what money enables.
Like being able to pay my mortgage.
Buying groceries.
Having medical insurance for my family.

When you are to the point of having money play a prominant role in your life, it's hard to look past it.  Every day necessities make it almost hard not to concentrate on it.

Beyond the survival necessities, money seems to play a big role in the entertainment or relaxation aspects of life too.

I like to shoot, that costs money for ammunition or reloading supplies, range fees.
I like to run triathlons, that costs entry fees, new shoes, bike repairs and maintenance etc.
I enjoy wood turning, that cost for wood and tools etc.

Money may not be able to buy happiness directly, but it sure can help to enable you to do the things you like doing, which in a roundabout way is buying happiness.

Anyhow, I started the day with some caribou blend coffee, and then followed it up with some nasty starbucks stuff they have at work.  God that stuff tastes terrible, but it's what's in the pot.

Have a great day.

Scott
