First Time Grandpa

My oldest son and his wife gave birth to my first grandchild on 3/9. His name is John and he weighed 6lbs 4 ozs. Both mother and child are doing well. he's so cute, but it does make me feel (a little old).

Awesome!! Remember it's the grandparents job to spoil the kids while driving the parents crazy. Think of it as payback!!

thats a FEEL GOOD moment. I just visited my grandchildren. No matter what, you cant take those moments away from me.
At 62 I find this more rewarding then most anything else.

Congratulations man!!!!! You don't sound the least bit proud of that baby either. haha. Spend as much time as possible with that baby as he grows up. Some of my fondest memories that I have of my childhood are with my grandpa....

You may feel old now, but you'll be running around with this little guy before you know it. Teach him everything you know and enjoy him. Kids keep you young! Congratulations!
