I will be getting off my butt today.  I was just in an online poker  tourney and finished 97 out of 500.  I made a dumb call.  ANyway, it is time to make some smart calls and get my butt outside.  The weather is nice and I plan on doing the following:

A run outside,  take my daughter to the YMCA for Karate and swim for about 20-30 minutes.    Then, I will come back and get my bike out and ride a few miles before getting my Webber Grill out and grillin up some ribs or steaks.  I will then pull out my outdoor furniture and do a little work in the yard.

What is your plan to get you off your butts today?

Already did it!  The weather is complete crap here - 37 and rainy so I hit the Y at 8 Am when they opened.  Did 30 minutes on the elliptical and then an hour and half of weights.  Finished up with a hot shower and 20 minutes in the whirlpool.  Now I've got to take my 6 year old to a birthday party at Putt Putt (in the rain) before settling down to watch the ACC tournament.  GO HEELS!!

wow (I'm mean damn),  now it is 31 degrees here and sunny currently at 10:30 and we expect a high of 54.  It feels warm and wondful.  Isn't that funny.  THe rain makes a difference, plus there is little wind here.  I just finished my run.  Ran 3.6 miles in 33:30.  I'm not very happy with that time, but there was a good size bluff that I ran up that slowed me down a lot.  The treadmill seems easier to me than running outside, but outside is much more fun.  I followed that up with a walk for my dog who hasn't been walking for most of the winter.  He's little and does not do well outside when it is super cold.

Well I thought I was going to be starting a 'Biggest Loser' completion at my gym with a weight loss boot camp class. I have never done a class before and I am actually afraid that I won't be able to do it. (In a class probably packed with women, Ugh.) But I got there and I had the wrong week. It starts next week. So there I was with no Ipod knock-off and in my gym clothes. I will have to get my nerve up again next week.

So I did:
30 minutes elliptical
45 min weights
25 minutes stationary bike.

It is all so much better listening to a book on tape. The time flies by. I also prefer real early in the morning when there are only a few people and no really young skinny people. When will my mind ever change.

40 minutes of weights (legs and core), 25 minutes on the TM, 43 minutes on the eliptical, and 20 minutes on the stair master...
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
