OK< so this morning I went to the Group Strength Training Class for an hour:   OMG

I feel like such a weakling with all those women lifting more than me.  IT was a great workout and it goes to show that I need to balance my cardio with more resistance training.  I recommend this class to any of you who may have one nearby.

I do Body Pump (group lifting class). I've been doing it once per week for the last couple of weeks since I was cleared for weights.  I plan on working back up to 2 or 3 classes per week. It kicks your ass and works every major muscle group in one quick hour.  If anyone tries it first time, remember to go light on the weight, otherwise you'll regret it the next day.

I've been told it's one of the best metabolism kicks you can get. I went out with the dogs for a few mile walk today.

This morning I did 35 min on stationary bike.
Then in the afternoon...I took an approx. 3 1/2 mile walk..over 70 min.
