HELP!!!!

I had surgery 4 years ago, everything has been going fine,  but I did gain maybe 25 lbs  back and lost 15 in the last 3 months.. My problem is I have developed Erectile Dysfunction .. can it be related to my surgery?   help please

I would see your doctor.  I would think it's might be heart related.  It all has to do with blood flow.  Also certain meds can cause it too.

I agree that you certainly need to see a doctor. There are many things that can cause ED. Let us know what you find out though so we can try to avoid that issue as well. May I ask how old you are?

Diabetes can also cause this - blood flow in extremities is constricted. See your doc.

My gut says WLS should improve this type of problem.  If it is related to surgery, I would wonder if it is due to nutritional short coming.  Have you been taking your supplements as instructed and had your lab work checked lately?

This is often a side effect of medicaitons, have you recently started new meds?  Are you under stress? 

Talk to your surgeon's staff, if they don't feel it is related to your surgeon, see your primary MD and get a complete physical.  I will be curious to see what they all have to say.

Can it be related to any other meds for depression. Many of those can cause this. I do not think it would be surgically related

I dont think its surgically related, but am thinking its a lack of some vitamin or something bcausae of the gastric bypass ? I was hoping to hear from someone that maybe experiencing the same thing 4 or more years out from surgery..
