Some before and after pics from the hospital, seven months out

Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement.  I am much happier, yet I feel very cautious.  I've been on these up and down weight loss experiences all my life.  I"ve always been able to lose weight rapidly (up until the last couple years) but then gain it back equally fast.  I know that this can happen to me and it scares the hell out of me.  My hard work is just beginning and I am so glad you guys are around.  I want to be able to show before and after pictures at two years post op that are looking even better than these.

I know what you mean.  I am so concerned about maintaining proper exercise and eating habits for the long run.  I am very much afraid of going back to old grazing habits.  I know that for the rest of my life, I have to watch the scale, my waist and how my clothing fits and deal with any changes in my weight right away, before I am looking at having to loose many pounds.

I hope that you are looking this good in your two year photos.
