Jeff, try www.tickerfactory.com. You can set the ticker up there and then tie it in to OH in your My OH personal settings, message board.
As for meals, you're early out so try to get in as many small meals as you can. The doctors usually say to shoot fot 6 a day but I know that could be hard at this stage. Focus on soft proteins like puddings, ground / pureed meats, shrimp, flaky fish (I had a problem with dense fish and chicken at this stage), cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs. Soft veggies are ok. Everything should be fork tender. Protein shakes are your best weapon. It will allow you to get you protein in plus your liquids all in one swoop. But, keep in mind, these are only suggestions, as always, listen to your doctors recommendations. Good luck.

This comes up every month or so...I'm copying and pasting from then.
Things I keep in my pockets and snack on: Beef jerkey, dry roasted peanuts, plain almonds and walnuts, plain sunflower seeds, plain pumpkin seeds, raisins, dry roasted soy nuts. If you're busy, at least get in a protein shake or carry some type of protein bar with you. I also eat Healthy Choice Lemon Fish Dinners alot...Boring but the fish is really good. I crockpot too. I add lean beef and vegetables...salt pepper and spices. I prepare it the night before and then cook it for hours while I'm out. I freeze 2/3s of it for later in small containers. Beef vegetable or chicken vegetable soups...boring but they work in a pinch. Good luck...and as others have said...don't skip meals. It can cause loss of muscle mass. Brian PS If your stomach can handle it...Wendy's Chili with cheese.

Hi
You pretty much can't go wrong with some good quality lunch meat, cheese and a whole grain wrap. They even have them available in lo-carb. Well mixed tuna or chicken salad also worked. When all else fails, have a shake and remember to keep drinking all day as well as walking anytime and anywhere you can.
Good luck and a good start to your new life.

Hey what's up...
You're early out and take advantage of the first 6 months to get rid of your excess weight because the further out you are, the hunger comes back and it'll be challenging to lose more weight.
My recommendation to you is to follow your surgeons orders. Plan your small meals and like everyone said, be sure you intake your protein, sip on water, and my advise to you is to always exercise. Good luck!

I had a frig and microwave available at work, so I weighed and packed many of the same foods I would be eating for my meals at home.
chili has been a standby for me post op. It always settles well in my pouch. I make a regular red chili and a white chili. When you are allowed a salad with grilled chicken. A slice of cheese wrapped in turkey or ham (really good warmed up). tuna salad, egg salad, baked beans. lean meats. I love the crock pot, it keeps the meat tender and moist.
good luck
