A new Hope
OK I haven't been here in over a year, but I now have a new hope. Lat year when I was looking into WLS VSG, my insurance wouldn't pay and i had no money to pay for it myself. Well a few weeks ago I got laid off from my job. 3 days later I was re-employed as a contractor, no benefits, but with the possibility of being hired down the road (between May - Dec). So this companny has Aetna for health ins. I met with a Dr at Johns Hopkins on 1/2008 and weighed in at 348, he said I qualified for the surgury then. I've lost and regained just dieting in the past year and am probably 345 now. So Im excited about my new hope of getting a job (perm) and having the surgury again. Im telling ya, the day I get my job offer, I will be calling the Dr at Johns Hopkins.
Hey, Iam old Leesburgite. Go way back. Did the Hopkins route. They can be very slow if you pressure them. I had to requalify my insurance and all my test. Henceforth I fired them and went with Dr Roe in Towson. Was on the table in no time. He gets alot of Hopkins patients.
Being unemployed or under employed is one of the hardest experiences I ever faced.
Whats skills do u have??
Good luck
