I don't know if there is a Tractor Supply Co. (TSC) store near you but they have inexpensive jeans in big sizes for $20.  I would not buy more than one or two pair at a time.  Rodney Daingerfield!

I've got shirts in sizes from 2X to 5X so I think that I'll be set for awhile.  My pants range in size from 46 to 54.  I don't have the time or patience to go to Goodwill and hunt so I'll do most of my shopping at Target and Wal-Mart I guess for everyday clothes.

I would only have one or two pair of pants at a time.  Walmart has jeans for about $8.00.  Not real great quality, but I didn't have much time to wear them out.  Nothing is as depressing as spending $40.00 on a pair of Levi's.  I have heard some people have good luck at good will stores.  I went once and could not find anything I would wear.  A good belt lets you wear the pants a little longer.  I refused to buy anything to nice until I sort of settled in a little.

Now my wife & I do alot of shopping at Marshall's, TJ Max, Kohl's.  We also have hit the clearance racks.  I have gotten some really great pants, shirts, sweaters, vests for $5.00.  After paying premium prices for larger sizes, it is really cool to walk into a store and get 4 or 5 items for $25.00.

Good Luck

Damn I'll be saving on food and clothes. Goodwill is going to get a lot of Polo Jeans soon

I don't really wear a lot of jeans in the Summer, you know its FL. So will be able to get by with shorts and since I'm not working, dont have to worry about pants too much..  Pants for me means nothing was clean.

You know I have never owned a pair of Levi's. They don't fit me right, feels like I am walking around with a front weggie.

Dude,

Most of the jeans can be found in a "relaxed fit" that is a better fit in the seat and crotch.  I was tickled ass pink though that the two pairs of 36's I bought were "regular fit" Wranglers.  I had been wearing the "relaxed fit" and or stretch jeans for years.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I've blended both buying from goodwill, salvation army,  used clothing stores, with buying some new stuff.  Even Saturday, I purchased some nice shorts at a used store.  There is some decent clothing out there and you can save some big bucks.  Also, you can go to the clearance areas and purchase ahead of time guessing what you will be wearing, a little more risky as I lost more weight than I thought I would but you can buy winter or fall clothes right now at a good deal in some places.

I've only bought some new underwear, undershirts and two pairs of slacks for work. I got the underwear from wallymart (fruit of the looms). Slacks and undershirts came from casual male since I haven't gotten my midsection small enough to fit in anything outside of there. I was actually extremly pissed off Friday night when I went to khols hoping to find something to fit me.

I did however buy a kilt and two renessance-style shirts at the Scarborough Renessance Festival this weekend which made me extremely happy.

I just gotta work on this midsection weight more. I've lost most of my weight in upper body area.

yup, I am going to rush out and get me a new kilt.  The Irish pub i hang out in, people come in wearing those.. They look itchy. People say they go comando when they wear em.

I'm Lucky I dont have to worry about fall and winter clothes. Unless I plan on traveling some place cold.  I just wear shorts year round pretty much.  I'm not working any place right now that requires me to wear pants.
