Sunday Weekly Weigh In
Happy Easter Gents!
We have a gorgeous blanket of snow here in the Rockies this morning.
I am still at 194. Went to the gym twice this week, and am organizing a hiking club at work. I'm gonna get these last 10 pounds soon! The gym has really helped my stress levels. I'm also really paying attention to HOW I am eating - gotta keep an eye on the grazing habits.
What are your numbers this week? What are your successes, and what are you struggling with?

Happy Easter to you too!
I'm down to 194 this week. I've been stuck in a stall for several weeks and then melted 5 pounds this week. I've been hitting the gym hard and doing lots of yard work plus walking at work. Now that the house is full of Easter candy for the kiddies, I can already see what I'll be struggling with this week. Keep up the hard work and you'll drop that 10 pounds in no time.

I am down six lbs. this week for 31 total. Second full week out from Surgery. Was moved to soft foods and I realize that I really need to slow down and make sure there are no lumps or chunks in the food. Food got stuck and had the foamies several times. I am also struggling with my metformin 1000 tablets. I asked my doc to send in a new script for 500's but there was a mixup somewhere and they sent me a 90 day supply of 1000's again. They are too bitter to crush. I will just have to break them up into four pieces and make the best of it.
All in all this is still great and i am looking forward to a little more energy this week!

Happy Easter back at ya. Well, I'm still at 184 and have been in the 183-185 range for a few weeks now. HW 300, GW 180 (but I may want to lower it a little), Just finished a 20 mile bike ride through the beautiful bluffs here in the coulee region. I had a blast going down the hills, and felt great that I could get up the hill without getting off my bike. I don't know why I haven't dropped the last pounds but I am sure they will come off. I have definately increased my intake, but still am well below 2000 per day and excercise 6 days a week.
Still 145. Been stuck there for a year now.
This weekend, I climbed 1000 steps to the top of a mountain during a Good Friday pilgrimmage (it killed my legs) then yesterday I hiked 15 kilometers over Kalaklan Ridge and back, with a great view of the crowded beaches along the way. In a couple of weeks when I walk up that damn mountain again, it's not going to kick my ass.

I've been free of my food addictions since 01-29-09 and haven't grazed since then. I had slight weight gains for the past few weeks but my cardiologist had said it was jus****er retention. She's always doing paperwork next to the scale where I get weighed. But, in the last week I lost a little bit over 6 lbs--I'd dance a jig if I could!. As it is, I have difficulty walking even with a cane. I hope that will go away when I lose more weight. At least I'm not exhausted every 10-15 feet like I was at my highest weight.
