Bought new bikes

Last night the wife and I went to a bike shop and bought  a pair of bikes, we haven't ridden in 15 years.  I was nervous but did ok, it's just like riding a bike  LOL.  Wow my first bike that doesn't say Huffy on the side.  I have gotten in too good of shape skiing and the wife thinks peddaling will catch her up.

Just wanted to share, almost 5 years post and still trying new things.

neat, this is something my wife and I have been doing together.  Maybe we could hook up at Lanesboro MN some time and ride the trails together.

Yeah, these last three pounds are still in my sites though...  BMI, i am still considered overweight at 25.5   gotta get it down to 24.9 although you know how that goes.

Yea I bought a schwinn at walmart.  Been riding around DC . Feels good to get back on. still a fat guy weighing down the tires but I'am there

SUPERCOOL! I love to ride bikes, I have to get one for my wife this year, so the whole family can ride together.  I got my bike two years ago and I haven't been on since surgery.  I am now under the weight limit to ride it, so I may be able to go faster.  The weight limit is 300 and I was tipping the scale at 389 when I bought it.  Poor bike, you could actually hear it wheeze when I coasted. 

I bought a bike about a year ago and ride almost everyday I am home (and weather permits). I have found it much easier on my knee, compared to running or even brisk walking. Mine is an Electra Townie. Not cheap, but it has held up perfectly through a lot of miles.

Keep riding, it is a great hobby.
