What do you hate most post WLS?

Thanks for weighing in and sharing your story.  I wish you well with your hopes and plans for addressing this hernia issue.  Congrats on your maintenance for these years.

Good Jesus am I coming to this post a little late!

Okay so my biggest thing with the BM's is the LOONNGGG summer-sausage like stool that will hardly flu****'s so strange how different it is to do that after surgery, makes little sense to me really.

And that my damn tailbone hurts me! I must have lost the majority of the weight from that area I swear it's a literal pain in the ass haha.

I don't enjoy the acidic nature of my stomachs now so I must take Prevacid about 3 times a week I guess.

And I still have back issues occasionally so I'm on a low dose of Celebrex which is an amazing drug by the way.

And I too still move like a fat person. Or at least it feels like I do. And I also don't see myself as thinner, I'm still the fatty fatty 2x4 who can't fit through the kitchen door :-( 


And I'm type 1 diabetic so that's a pain as well.

I'm approaching 2.5 years out from RNY. Hate is a strong word, but I would have to say that what I hate most is that I waited so long to have WLS. Probably could have spared myself knee replacement surgery someday if I had done it 5 years earlier.

Otherwise, I am not real fond of the loose sagging skin. Seriously considering a panicolectomy (sp) for Christmas.
