Could you stay on a liquid diet to lose a mass amount of weight and then eat healthy from the loss on? Would all of it come back or just some water weight.

I asked my Doc that same question and he said that I would lose weight but it would be very unhealthy in the long run.  He also said with my history of obesity that  I would gain it all back plus some with out the surgery to use as a tool to keep it off.  So far I am 6 wks out and down over 60 lbs. I like Your gun,  I seen one similar in flat black that looks pretty bad ass too.

Thanks my dad had this idea that I could stay on liquids for 3 or 4 more months vs having surg.  lol I dont know how i made it this far.

A friend of mine likes the choices of the guns I buy, so whatever I get in Stainless he buys in Black/blued.

I thought the same thing. But I know that if I wasn't donig this for the surgery I'd have quit already. Being on the liquid diet is not as bad as I thought it would be. But it sucks none the less.
5days to go.

In 2002, I was on a high-protein diet through the Cleve Clinic and lost 90 pounds in eight months - kind of like the rate with gastric bypass.  When I went back to refeeding, it all came back over a period of about five years - and then some.  My wife asked me the same question.
