I called today and they told me to make a list of what I want and don't. The Doc will write the orders for the hospital. Yes I will be able to take them.  They will give me liquid Ibuprofen for the pain or a chewable.

non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID).

I've been told that the only type of OTC that I should take is Tylenol.

I filled my prescription for pain medicine, don't remember what I got, but I never took any of them. I don't remember any pain at all. I had OPEN surgery. I have never been much on taking medicine of any sorts.

I am a week out from surgery. I had pain in the hospital, but like the post above I just told them the numerical level of pain and they took care of it. After, at home I had pain for about a day, then I quit taking meds.

I'm telling you WALK, WALK, WALK. the more I walked the better I feel.
