I've had similar experiences, not on this board but in general.  I was "sexting" with a girl once, pretty intense stuff.  So I was like, let's do this for real!  She said, "oh I don't actually hook up with people"  W...T...F...

My friends and I now have a nice nickname for her... DT

LOL no... not emo at all.  And in my defense, it wasn't a dude, I do know the girl, have been on a few dates with her, but yeah... nothing coming of it.

I can understand where you're coming from. I think you'll find that a lot of folks here carry a lot of baggage with them, and while brave when it comes to sending texts, etc, will flake out when it comes to the "in person" stuff. 

This is true of everything from flirting, to talking **** 

I'm a guy, into guys, so my words may not hold a lot of water, but don't take it personally. You're a handsome guy, and there's no doubt that she was into you. She just might have had her own set of luggage when she took a ride on the crazy train.
