OT: hoping PA passes budget

We live in NJ but my wife worked in PA.  Thus, she gets her unemployment from PA.  The Dems and Reps in PA are arguing about the budget.  In the meantime, State employees will not be paid and Unemployment checks going out this week are the last to be sent until the budget passes.

I've been retired since July, 1992 due to bi-polar disease.  My wife is a super-positive person.  This news doesn't phase her at all.  And, despite all of this, we're even having someone come today to estimate replacement of our heating and A/C.  We've been lucky with the heater so far since we've been here for 29.5 years and haven't replaced it yet.  I just don't want to pu**** anymore and possibly have it fail all of a sudden in  the winter.

Ah, life goes on.
