Post Bariatric Talk... (X-Post)
Well I did the talk and here is the email from the coordinator. She received an email from a white shirt(department administrator) and as I read it appreciated and happy and somewhat teary eyed.

Subj: Wednesday's speaker Dear Barbara,
I wanted to thank you for putting together yesterday's speaker presentation. This was one of the best EFRS presentations of the year for me. To have the opportunity to hear first hand about all of the physical, emotional and mental process' an individual goes through when opting for bariatric surgery was amazingly insightful. I have heard some of this before from another individual, but it was not nearly as mesmerizing.
If you wouldn't mind forwarding this e-mail and the message below to our speaker, I would appreciate it:
Thank you for having the courage to talk about all of your emotions, feelings and issues surrounding your surgery. You gave such an honest and well organized talk that I have not stop thinking about it. And you kept it together.... I would have been in a puddle half way into it...Good luck to you, and thank's again for doing all the work you are doing to help others.
