Okay guys, I need some help!
If you start asking around, and talk to people who do marathon runs and such...most of them GAIN weight during their intense training, they do not lose weight. Yes some of it is muscle, some of it is some body fat, in my opinion the body needs to compensate for the intense long distance events.
There was a book called "the cardio free diet" which came out about 2 years ago, the premise was that all the fit people are in the weight training area of the gym, and all the fat people are in the cardio area. If you've been to a gym, it's kind of true.
From my person experience all I know is when I do lots of cardio, I get really hungry all the time. You could try power yoga, or circiut training....it's less cardio intensive, but still gives you a bit of cardio mixed with resistance training.
