Anyone have Nissen before VSG? Need advice.

I had a Nissen fundoplication about 8 years ago.  It has been very successful in controlling reflux.  One surgeon suggest taking down the Nissen and then doing a VSG.  I am concerned about return of reflux.  He said he would do a Thal patch to control it.  All will done at the same time. Has anyone had the Nissen procedure done prior to WLS?  What procedure did you have? How have you done post op?  Another surgeon suggest taking it down and doing bypass.
Need some advice.

Not really advice, but I sort of remember reading somewhere that a RNY was a treatment for reflux.  Have not heard of the patch.  Good luck
