Hello,

I'm new to this forum and just had my RNY surgery June 16, 2015. I appreciate all the the threads and knowledge shared here, I'm learning a lot! I started the process in January 2015 at 375lbs. I'm down to 289.6 and for the most part things have gone well.

i had a scare last week, my only one so far. I was out golfing with friends and lost focus and ate too fast. Had terrible chest pain and nausea at the same time. Three hours later I vomited and had almost had instant relief. Lesson learned, slow down and focus.

Good luck to all!

Greetings and welcome to the Loser's Bench!

There are three ways that a person can learn:

1.  Read the instructions.

2.  Watch somebody else.

3.  **** on the hot wire yourself!

You **** on a lot of hot wires on the WLS journey!  I miss the ball peen hammer to the sternum sensation when I over do it.  Watch out for chicken, beef or any meat that is too dry.  Ticket(s) to drive the porcelain bus.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Sounds like great advice!

i'll be sure and take it!

And I have no intention of taking the porcelain bus!

Welcome to dumping syndrome. That will be a great tool to teach you on not what to eat and it will make it much easier to avoid the foods that you don't need.
