Well I did it again.....I ended up in the hospital!!!
I sure wish they would figure out what is going on. On saturday I had horrible abdomanal pains that even vicodin wouldn't touch so my DH took me to the ER, They are pretty sure it is an ulcer bleed somewhere but just can't seem to find it. MY Hemoglobin was low so they had to give me 2 pts of blood.I had several test with no results. I am waiting on the results of a red blood cell tag test but it hasn't come back yet. It is suppose to trace a bleed if you have one so we will see. I just wish they would figure this out cause I am tired of gonig thru this every 3 months. Well I got out today, I am going back to work tommorrow. I was off 2 wks prior because I feel off a ladder and hurt my arm. Boy I am batting a 1000....lol. Hopefully I can concentrate on work for a while my poor client are going to think I deserted them!
Okay, Now that you know how my world is......How is yours???????
God Bless everyone-----Toni
Oh my gosh, Toni!!
I sure hope they can figure out your problem. I'm sure they will....just a matter of time, which I know feels like forever when you're feeling bad! And wow, falling off a ladder too??? You're lucky you didn't break your arm! Can you imagine falling off a ladder 3 years ago at your old weight? You'd probably be in the hospital with broken bones for sure! I thought of that last winter when I fell, and it seemed so "easy" compared to falling at almost 300 lbs!!
Hope you are back to your old (young
) self real soon! Hugs, Theresa

Oh toni, i'm sorry you're still going through this, i hope they can figure it out soon! I know how you feel though, i have been doing the waiting game with my daughter too. after changing her from the pediatrician to my pcp things are rolling finally. She had her ultrasound yesterday and will know the results thursday.....only thing is, it looks more like somthing with her ovaries and not her kidneys so she will probably end up with a gyn referral. she's only 11 and in so much pain, i wish we could fix it now. It's sad she had to waste most of her summer for this..
Anyway, i hope you are feeling better soon.
hugs
Linda
I went to the ER twice with an internal hernia with a partial obstruction of the small intestine. Both times they sent me home with out figuring out what the problem was. The pain was worse than any I have ever felt. Much worse than both natural childbirths! A surgeon looked at my CT scan and knew right away what the problem was. Have they ruled out an internal hernia/obstruction? Just a thought. Best wishes.
Toni,
Sorry you are going through this. I'll keep you in my prayers. I'm having problems with anemia. They are giving me iron infusions....I just hope I start to feel better soon. I did stay up a little later last night (that is, not falling into bed as soon as I got home from work), so maybe the infusions are starting to work. I had a fall at work in June and fractured my ankle. Workmans Comp doesn't want to pay because they say it happened "at work", but not "in the course of work" so I'm trying to get that straightened out. And of course the orthopedic doctor I got sent to doesn't participate in my Blue Cross so the bills are coming to me.
Hope today is a better day for you and that they find out what is going on. How low is your hemoglobin?
Love & Prayers,
Jane
