The Heat

Well the AC guy came out yesterday and my compressor is gone. It needs to be replaced and it wont be in for a week. OMG dealing with this heat is horrible. My house was up to 91 degrees yesterday. We closed everything up and we ended up going to Lowes last night and buying a window air conditioner to put in the living room just to take the temp down so that we could sleep. My poor DH was dripping with sweat installing the air conditioner. I dont sweat that much anymore but my asthma that I have not had problems with since my surgery starts to act up a bit. I was actually having trouble breathing a bit yesterday. Today I am heading out to do some shopping and run some errands. Suzanne

I'm surprised you were able to find a window a/c - you'd think they would have been sold out in this kind of weather. Well at least you have that - of course it is supposed to cool down tonight. I would be out in the malls, movies where ever they have a/c. Anywhere but home. Try to stay cool. Carey

It was actually a little hard to find a smaller a/c unit. We did not want a bigger unit because of the cost and we just dont need a bigger unit since we have an a/c unit for the whole house. It is actually pretty cool in here today. Another trouble we are having is my DH blew an outlet last night in the house and we cannot figure out what the problem is. Hopefully tonight he can figure it out. Suzanne
