Some Help?

Well I am currently doing "Medical Weight Loss Clinic" and my first three days consists of only red meat and green veggies to "cleanse" Well also a half an orange in morning and afternoon. Well for lunch I made a salad with baby leaf spinach, iceburg lettuce, broccoli, and cucumbers. Let me tell you, I found out I do NOT like baby leaf spinach lol. And I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on what to eat. I can't have any salt, sugar, or carbs right now. Maybe some recipes for some red meat with only a couple of seasonings, or what I could put together with some greens. Any ideas I will take! Thank you!

Make a stir fry.
Or make a pasta. Since you cannot have carbs, use the cucumbers like noodles. If you have a mandolin or a food processor with a slicer attachment you can slice them to look like noodles. You blanche them for a short amount of time and top them with some sliced flank steak or something.

For extra seasoning- try a lot of fresh herbs, garlic, lime/lemon juice, cayenne pepper if you can handle it! When you make a salad try putting in some fresh herbs (i love cilantro's kick!) to pep it up. Some of the pre-packaged salads have good green mixes. scallions might tweak your taste buds too. Red wine vinegar is also a favorite of mine.

hey i'm curious about the medical weight loss diet. What is the "medical" aspect to it? Are you taking any kind of diet pills?
I'm not sure if you're allowed to have any sauces right now or not.....but here's what i like.
I get a steak and grill it. I fry up some sliced onions and mushroom . I slice the steak thin and mix it with the onion mixture and put it on a bed or leaf lettuce. You can put whatever veggies you like.
Or
I get some ground beef and fry with onions and fresh garlic. Get the small zuccinis and hollow them out. Stuff them with the meat mixture and put them in a baking pan with a little tomato juice and cook them at 350 til they're tender.

I did the MWL thing for about a year and lost 40 pounds. I only did the cleansing once though because I was nursing when I first started. Well for seasoning the food I used a lot of Mrs. Dash - the cajun spice one is really good. I also used Red wine vinegar with garlic powder which was really good for salad dressing. I remember eating lots of cucumbers though and the great thing about the cleans is the more meat and veggies you eat the better. They are unlimited. Well I am sorry I couldn't be a little more help but try the red wine vinegar.
