Haven't been around in a while...

So, I thought I would post a quick update. I hit my 8 month anniversary on April 11th. I've lost 126 pounds and 80 inches. I went back to work at the end of February, which is why I haven't been around here much. I am a teacher but had taken a year off to start my master's degree. It took a while to get back in to a school, anywhere! It's tough out there finding a teaching job in SE Michigan. Anyway, I feel great. I haven't had any problems related to my surgery, whatsoever, so I'm very grateful and blessed for that! I eat pretty normally, food wise, but not volume wise! I don't dump on anything, although I did have a bit of REAL ice cream the other day and had some serious cramps almost immediately. Needless, to say my hubby finished it for me! LOL!!! Tina, That is wonderful 126# and 80 inches you go girl. Try the carb smart icecream with splenda I love it. choc with real strawberries yummy. Keep up the good work and stay intouch. Claudia

Well, thanks Claudia. By the way, you look AWESOME!!! I really need to get a picture on here...but I never like any of the ones I take. I've had the splenda sweetened ice creams...well, a little. This was a one time thing. We were in TN at my mom's over Easter. I splurged a bit...paid for it! I drank a ton of water and that really helped. That was the first thing I've eaten since surgery that I have had an immiediate negative response from. Weird!! But thanks for the Kudos!

Tina and Shannon, you 2 are too funny...can we all tell that you're buds??!! Congratulations, Tina, on you 126#s, that's amazing and wonderful. I'm sure you feel so much better while you're at work than you did before you took your "Master's" break ! Please go ahead and post a picture of yourself, everyone should see how great YOU look!
