Topic: RE: Any support groups in Grand Rapids or No. Kent Co.?
I see you went through Grand Health Partners...they have a support group every Monday evening...I think it's from 5-6pm...maybe Paul will come in here and let me know if that time is correct. I haven't been there in awhile because I live almost an hour away..and with gas prices..grrrr...lol
Topic: RE: Need to find a doctor in the Flint area
Waterford is a little too far for me to drive because I really live in the Clio area and I also don't drive the freeways. But I do appreciate you help.
Thank you,
Susan

Topic: RE: BCBS of Ga
I finally got the pre-auth info brom BCBS of GA and they are requiring BMI of 35. I think I'm still going to contact my Dr and see what my options are. When I went to the Henry Ford seminar, they would not even allow me to continue with the evals, etc. without pre-approval because of my BMI. I had to pay out-of-pocket.
UGH

Topic: RE: Need to find a doctor in the Flint area
Good luck, I know it can be hard to find a good doc. If Waterford isn't to far, I see Dr. Stepanski at Walton Medical. He's a family doctor, I really like him. Depending on where you are, it might not be to far, it only takes me about 15 minutes to get to Flint on 75, but it's a big area, so my be further for you.

Congrats, that's so exciting. Cool that you squeezed it into August like you wanted.
I just saw Dr White today, she said mine will probably be sometime in September.
