MORE SNOW!!!

I know I'm not alone in being bloody sick and tired of the white stuff! Although it looks pretty, and it does cover all the dog poo and other dirt made visible by the melting snow, ENOUGH ALREADY!!! I'm concerned about road conditions when my son and his wife and baby head to Thunder Bay from Ottawa tomorrow, an 18-hour drive in good conditions.  At least they plan on making it a 2-day drive. Please say a prayer for their safety. THANKS--and if you're getting some sun today--enjoy it for me! ((HUG)) **SUE**

I agree whole heartedly!!!   We woke up to a couple of inches again too.   Not sure how much as I haven't gone out yet.   It does look pretty but so would some green grass and flowers!!!

I so agree with you, Michelle!  Maybe all this moisture will raise Lake Superior's level, and hopefully there will be enough moisture in the ground that it won't be a drought situation this year.  PLEASE GOD!

AMEN, SISTER SUE!!!  Criminy - all our ski trails were closed FOR THE SEASON on Friday, due to melting snow and poor conditions.  We had a couple of inches fall yesterday, and the XC fanatics were calling to see when we'd be groomed again!  When I broke it to them that the season was over and we hadn't gotten enough to actually get the grooming equipment back out on the soft ground, they responded as if I was a disagreeable wench! 

Okay, so maybe I AM a disagreeable wench.  But PUH-LEEZE!!!  Enough of winter - bring on the birdies and the sunshine and the tender green of new growth!!! Whew.... Thanks, I feel better.  And I'm praying for a safe trip for your son and his family.

You--a disagreeable wrench???  Oh--WENCH!  Yup--it's STILL snowing, although ever so lightly.  ARRRRGH!!!! I was very surprised to come home to a message on my machine---telling me that the 'kids' were at her mom's house and did I want to come and see the baby?  I just came back from visiting my grandbaby.  He's a keeper! It turns out that Amanda and the baby flew from Ottawa and got to TBay around midnight. Ian drove straight through and got here around 9AM.  The kids were concerned about the slight possibility of their car breaking down, or getting stuck in bad weather.  Ian hit lousy weather around Marathon--where the hairpin curves and major hills are.  But he said it wasn't TOO bad 'cuz at least it was daylight by then. And it's only 4 hours from Marathon to TBay (in good weather...) So, many thanks for your prayers!  I believe they kept Ian on the road! (((HUG)) **SUE**

Thanks, Connie!  You are a faithful friend.  YOU'RE LESS THAN  2lbs. TO GOAL!!   HOLY MOLY!!   WTG!! The  kids are here safely. (You can read the details in my post to Darla.) I believe that in the spiritual world, time is different and your prayers for the kids were said just when they needed to be, if that makes any sense.
