How many calories post-op....daily plate users?

I just started entering my food for the day on The Daily Plate.  Today I have had 715 calories.  Is this about the right amount? It seems like alot to me considering the teeny amount of food I eat.     How many do you have in a day?  OR should I not be conserned?

How in God's name are you eating 715 calories? What type of milk are you drinking?  How are you adding? You're using the + sign, not the * sign, right?

I wonder if I am doing it wrong.....I don't even know what you mean when you say the different signs......I just hit I ate this and then I adjust the serving size............. skim milk plus carnation instant breakfast (2 today) One egg, I made egg salad so I added light mayo. I had a few bites of the trader joes lime chicken burger, pureed and added a little guac. to mositen it so it would blend. Chili turkey with beans (2 tablespoons) Added light sour cream (tiny bit) I have had a little over one SF jello pudding snack pack.  (I know that's more than I should have) That's it!   Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry, I was having fun with you. I was asking if you were multiplying ( * ) and not adding ( + ) !  No way can that add up to 700 calories. I'm not good with all those Fitday website stuff, but it doesn't seem right to me.

Tee Hee.....I get it now!!!!!    I better wake up....omgosh, you mst have beem laughing out loud after you read my response.   I can be that way sometimes...kinda blonde..........silly me!    I agree, it just can't be that much...........hmmmmm Thanks for your response!!!!!   :O)

Personally, I believe that might be fairly accurate, and a pretty good number. If you doubt that, go in there and plug in what you might have eaten on a normal day PRE-op, and see what kind of number you get!!! (pretty flippin' scary, I'm guessing!  I mean, if you're anything like I was...)

Back in the "olden" days - PNC was mainly concerned about QUANTITY and protein etc...not calories.  Make sure you're in the right portion size (tbsp/1/4 cup etc) and not overeating or snacking.  Things may have changed, but personally I think you're doing fine.  I'm not sure Fitday or The Daily Plate really "fits" this early out, but what do I know???

I agree with Darla.....that sounds accurate to me. On the daily plate it's easy to adjust quantity.

Thanks everyone.....I'm guessing this early out it is hard to get the serving size accurate on The Daily Plate......two tablespoons out of a whole can of turkey chili??????   That is tricky!    I will keep measuring.  I know I am doing that part correct and sticking with PNC guildlines!  :O)       Have fun tonight.  I will sure be thinkin' about all of you havin' a great time.  I can't wait to see the pics. you get!!!!!     I agree....Debbie's new avatar is gorgeous!!!!!    (She's looking for a good man...bring them on if you know any good ones!!)
