Thank you Darla. I changed my hair color a bit and a slightly different cut. Lisa thinks it's because I am looking for a man but actually, I have 3 of them. She just doesn't want me with any of the three. I am open to a new man but it is LISA who is wishing I find a new perfect man.  Like her hubby, he is very sweet.

Lisa, Oh oh, I feel a song coming on!!!   (sung to the tune of  "Sound Off." ) Lisa Joy is doing great  (echo each line)  No food-"sins" are on her plate   Worrying that she's done something wrong?    The time has come for her new song: Weight off  (echo)   Loser  Peace out    Winner   Yeah. . .  . . . . (whispered quickly in temo) "You can do it. You are doin it.". . . .  Lisa! P.S. After the band, Dr. A says to stay around 800 cals per day and to pay attention to HOW we eat, sipping rather than gulping, stuff like that. I only stayed around 700-800 cals for the first ten days and NOW I'm striving to stay under 1,100. If you are eating healthy food, getting enough water, and protein you are doing great. Not only does the scale reflect it, but you said you are feeling good too. I know I'm high, but I am walking a lot too and I get  hungry lately.  Cindy

You could get a second job writing jingles!  I love it!  Very good and I get your point.  I think I won't do daily plate for awhile.  Too tricky to figure out when I am eating 3 tablespoons per meal!  :O)  Thanks for the jingle!

Don't worry about calories at this point.  As long as you are getting protein first, the rest will take care of itself.  You've gone from LOTS of food on your plate to measuring and staying in control.  You will lose if you stick to the program and use the tool appropriately for the time you are out from your surgery.   For your measurement complications, here is a web link for measurements I use.  So if you eat 2 tablespoons, that would be 1/8 of a cup.  But use it to track your protein....this will help you maximize what you should be buying and eating in the future.  http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0001723.html Good luck......XXOO
