My 360 day check-up

Darla! What an awesome report, you have really worked your tool and gained and lost so much because of it.  You are an inspiration to me!  I feel blessed to call you friend and have gained much from what you have shared here at the PNC support groups.  I will say a prayer that all goes well and you can be done with all of your diabetic stuff.  Keep up the wonderful job you are doing creating a healtheir you.   Girl, you have done such an amazing job!  I loved your post....never would have thought it possible to gain all of this before the surgery!   Keep up the excellent work Darla, you should be SOOOOOOOOOO proud!

Wowhhhhheeeee Darla!  Just reading through all the posts, I feel I'm contributing to the living color segment of "This isYour Live!"  And have you ever grabbed it and ran forward with your thisclose to one year success!  I find it amazing, that you have lost 'one of me!', so next time we see each other, just  try lifting me up, that would be the 130+ lbs you've lost forever!?!!!  Yikes, that sounded so much better in my head!..... Huge congratulations on your amazing success the first year;  you've lost/gained so much from this experience, although each of us in your cheering section have gained so much just by having  you in our lives!  Keep[ on a'rocking' girl friend!  Love 'ya tons!  Hugs galore, Patti

You are an example of how to maximize the tool and I am so appreciative that you have shared all that you have about your journey so that others could potentially benefit from it, plus sprinkle it with your humor, and you've got quite the combo! Ya know, people, I really have no words  (but stick with me - every time I say that, I seem to come up with a whole mess of 'em.) I am so moved and humbled by each of your replies, I just feel rather emotional and don't have the strength to reply to everyone individually.  I hope you all know in your hearts how much you mean to me.  A year ago, I would never have guessed even a fraction of the ways WLS has touched my life.  I pray that all of you can have the same positive experience I have had thus far - even those of you who have faced some challenges post-op.   This is so worth all the blood, sweat and tears - especially when you factor in how many of those tears come from a place of JOY within!
