Are you living your best life?
Awesome food for thought, Linda - THANK YOU!
I had my appointment with my PCP yesterday It went VERY well, and I could easily lose sight of what I've done so far to get healthy. I need to stay focused on what I need to KEEP DOING, not just to honor the success I've had so far, but to KEEP building on it! To lose the rest of the weight I need to lose, and to keep my priorities straight.
Me & my butterfly had a talk this morning about that very issue. I can't pat myself on the back for doing well by having a sliver of left-over confirmation cake. I need to remember that the changes are for LIFE if I want to stay healthy for LIFE!
I DO want to be able to say "I did my very best today!" when I hit the sack! What a great way to keep myself accountable!!!
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Hey Darla !!
Good job.... !!!!!!!!!!!!
We sadly cant put in our time with this surgery and then think we are done. The longer you behave like a newly rny'er the more your habit will stick.
So if today didnt go well.... let youself off the hook and do better tomorrow!
Hugs !
PS come over to the grads board.. grads doesnt mean we are done.. we are just farther out!
Start Weight - 263
Current Weight 135 and making it work for ME !
Hello Linda Anne....great post.....this is so true. We need to use all we have learned on this weight loss journey in all aspects of our lives. Sometimes it is harder to make the right choice but it is a habit we need to get really good at. In the long run we will benefit the most from those actions.
Thanks for the post......plenty to think about here.
Love and hugs....connie d
Hey I challenged my self and stepped out of the comfort zone at work today. I confronted my boss and asked him not to micro- manage me. He hired me because I have been very sucsessful to the company. Believe it or not he said he would step back and let me run the bussiness like he hired me for. Great post Linda- we need to challenge oursleves everyday even when it might not be all that fun. You will thank yourself later.
