moment so thank you for sharing your wisdom! I am also very happy to report that my mind has broken free from the thoughts of last night and so I am on with today and looking forward to my yoga class and then a jaunt around Lake of the Isles! I hope you have a great weekend!

Hi Nicolelynn, I just wanted to lend you some support. I know that I am newer to the boards and you may not feel comfortable with me, but I am happy to help. I have struggled throughout my life with mental health issues, but have been in treatment for almost two years now and am happily in remission. If there is anything that I can do to help you please feel free to contact me. I have wonderful connections in the mental health field that deal with food issues as well as SI issues all at the same clinic. Please PM me if you feel comfortable enough to. I am not in your shoes nor am I feeling what you are feeling right now, but I have been in a similar place.

Jennifer~Congrats on being in remission I can completely relate to the relief you feel when you are no longer in a constant state of crisis. I am happy to say that the emotions I experienced on Thursday night have passed and I am back to normal and have no more thoughts of SIBs. I will definitely keep you in mind should I find myself in need of a therapist again. It helps to know that there is someone I can turn to who will understand what I am dealing with! Hi Nicole, everybody has given you great theories and insight, so I could pretty much only repeat them. Just wanted to add that you did a wonderful job at recognizing your slide, and at reaching out. That is the most important thing, you recognized, refrained, and reached out. Like everybody else said, if you need any assistance with this, I'm here. not an expert by any means, but I've got good ears and can give support.
