What did you do for Mother's Day...
Wow - Lori, I can be, admittedly, quite a space cadet. I didn't realize you had an actual rescue operation going! I bow to you in deepest respect.
In fact, if my family does decide to get a pet for Hazel, I just might contact you to see what kind of precious pooches you have available!
OMG.... Lori... those redbone coonhound/boxer pups???
Tell me, just how big to you suppose they'll get???
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
What did I do on Mothers Day?
Well for me, it was probably one of the best ones yet since I became a mother. Yesterday, my daughter and I walked in the 'Race for The Cure' and it was WONDRFUL!!! IF anyone ever gets chance to do this, you should. It is very humbling to see all the different people out there for one main cause!!!
I am proud to say that I was never once winded, we talked the whole time, even skipped and acted silly. I think we actually put on about 7 miles according to her pedometer!!! So I guess that would be a 10k instead, huh?
A year ago, that would never have happened...I could not walk down to the end of the street without being winded and every bone hurting!!!
Then the next awseome thing that happened was in the afternoon we where sitting outside and I mentioned that I wish I had brought some capris or shorts, and my daughter said well lets see if I have something. So we went up to her room and had me try on some capris. She said, now mom, just try these on, don't look at the size. I got them on, a little snug, but they FIT!!! SIZE 7-8. Yep that is right, 7-8. I really do not even think I ever wore that size in my life......
I am just blown away!!!!
