Moving Time
Thanks for the idea about the knee brace I hadn't even thought about it but I am not sure if it is so much a joint thing as it is a muscle thing. If I am remembering my anatomy & kinesiology right I believe the pain is coming from the insertion point of a muscle or tendon.
Glad to hear you are doing to those crunches! I have yet to figure out how I am suppossed to do that while doing the deep breathing during yoga. At the beginning of our practice they always tell us to engage our "udianda banda" which means pull your belly button in towards your spine or something like that and keep it locked there through the whole practice. Well, I have tried, but then I can't breath as deeply and the breath is more important. I find myself doing the crunches though when I can see myself in the windows around the office and I am taking Tracy's advise from Wednesday at group and keeping my abs engaged as I walk now.

(...doing kegal exercises as I type this...) LMAO, I'm just kidding! Just had to follow in Darla's footsteps as usual, but I would probably crunch a whole lotta other things trying to do ab crunches, so she can have at 'em - let's not ask her how she types doing those, though, eh.

I'm just doing them right here at my desk, sitting upright! Squeezing my stomach muscles in, "crunching", throughout the day. I do that a lot, HOPING to rid myself of this atomic muffin top. I'm beginning to think my problem is a bit more excess skin than actual lose-able fat, 'cuz even while I'm crunching, there's some not-quite-set-jello stuff going on there...
I actually do this a lot while I'm driving. Whenever a new song comes on, I'll CRUNCH as long as I can, usually at least until the first verse is over!

Yeah it is a cute little neighborhood! I will definitely keep myself in check on Monday cause I don't want to throw off my training schedule with an injury (although this week was kind of messed up by it, but not too much). I am planning a distance walk to see if I can hike along Minnehaha Creek all the way to the Falls sometime soon!
