OT - date for Horsey/BBQ day

Okay, I love horses.. always have, plus there is going to be some awsome company. I will be there....I will bring something, don't know yet... but something!!! As long as it's okay we haven't met.... or at least I don't think we have.... I promise to half way behave that day!!!lol.

I could bring a veggie tray, and maybe say some pickles, bottle of ketchup and mustard.....Mayo???? Does this sound okay????

I will try for June 1. I am so glad you chose today. Tomorrow  I meet with my boss to ask for days off. Woohoo!

I will also bring something...   I have no idea what I'll bring so if there is something specific that anyone can think of that is needed let me know.

I don't think anybody has suggested it yet, but how about some paper plates, plastic silverware, or napkins.  Just a thought unless anybody else gives you ideas.

Just a question - instead of the cole slaw, should I make a pot of COWBOY BEANS for the day?  I mean, it's a side, it's a protein, and it's COWBOY, for cryin' out loud!   (besides - we WILL be outside, right?  ) 

Cowboy beans sounds good..........beans beans the magical fruit, the more we eat the more we toot, the more we toot the better we feel, so lets eat beans at EVERY meal.... unless you've had WLS. No one will ever get closer then 10 yards from ya!!!!! LOL

Hmmm lets see.... being out of the city, away from family & work at the same time......Good friends, more good friends, good food...and HORSEYS!!!!!!! What could be better!!!!!!

Okay.  Looks like the hubby will be working, so I'm free to do whatever I want.  Even drive all the way up to Zimmerman with the Monkey and Squishy.  And I have to stop up in Otsego next weekend anyway, so I'll turn it into one big trip. What to bring... hmm... I'll have to work on that one.  I have to make a killer pasta salad for that Thursday, so I can just buy a little extra and bring it with me.  It's not so much pasta as it is veggies and imitation crab.
