Sandie, sweet thing, you have to take care of #1 if you're gonna be worth anything to anyone else. You will have lots of prayers going up for you and your doctors, to get this thing figured out and treated once and for all.
As frustrating and upsetting as this all is, I can't help but think THANK GOD you lost the weight, so this other issue could be revealed when you're healthier and can fight THIS issue! I think of my dad when reading your post. My dad and mom spent a few winters in Arizona after they retired, and usually ended up gaining a bit while down there. When they returned to MN in the spring of 1990, dad started doing Slim Fast to shed a few. It worked, and he went in for his annual physical weighing about 30 pounds less than he did when he returned home from AZ. Without that added fat around his belly, his doctor detected a strong pulse in his tummy, and discovered a major aneurysm! He ended up having surgery just a few weeks before my wedding, and was terrified about something going wrong. But that surgery saved his life... He was a ticking bomb, and didn't even know it until he shed a few pounds.
So go into this strong, knowing you are surrounded by the love of family, friends and God.
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
