I'm sorry to hear about the denial, but it looks like you will not be taking no for an answer! I am sure it will work out with that kind of attitude! I was wondering about something though. I see Dr. Ikramuddin for my first consultation on the 19th so I am not sure how it all works yet as far as scheduling the surgery. Is that typical that they would schedule your surgery before you had the insurance approval? I am hoping it is! I may be changing my insurance very soon and I want to get this surgery scheduled ASAP! (before I change) Thanks!

Hey Candess! Danette did schedule my surgery first without the insurance approval and she usually does this so that she has a date on the calendar when she sends the request in to insurance. I believe she does the scheduling for Dr. I., too so hopefully it's the same. Definitely let her know about your insurance changing soon, though so she knows what kind of time frame she is working with. Good luck!
