I feel like the only time I come on here is when I need support...

First of all - I think that's why they call this a Support Board!!!  If that's when you come here, then we're just glad you did!  Second, it does sound like you DID make some healthy choices!  ROAST BEEF!!!  That's a great choice!  Cheese and Beef jerky? Those are GREAT choices over the carbs.  Stop beating yourself up for the bad choices and tell yourself how great you are for the GOOD CHOICES you made!!!  It sounds like you made quite a few good choices, so you need to appreciate yourself for those and stop killing yourself over the not so good ones!  Throw out the crap in your house - destroy it - get out a bottle of vinegar or tabasco sauce or anything else that would make it seem intolerable and douse the crap in that and then put it in the garbage!   You're doing good stuff Laurie - keep reminding yourself of that!!! and let the not so good choices just roll off your back - or you will want to eat more because you're beating yourself up. Love ya girlie - I'm glad you came here for support!

Thanks for all the words of support.  I know all those things - as many of you said - I say the same thing to others, but it is much more difficult to say them to yourself, and I appreciate you guys telling me that! I threw out the leftover food/candy/junk and went back to basics today.  Not the 5 day pouch test, but just basics of what I am eating.  Thanks again, girls...love ya all!

Sounds to me like you're  ** GASP!! **  HUMAN!!  God will not strike you dead for making a few poor choices now & then, ESPECIALLY when you find yourself in a setting where there are fewer good choices than bad!  But you lost 2 pounds and you're beating yourself up over them?  Good grief woman, you sound like me!  I started to beat myself up in January when I found I had only lost 5 pounds in 5 weeks.  Until I realized, I LOST weight over the Christmas holiday??!!  That's actually probably more like losing TEN pounds, when you factor in the 5 (or more) I would normally have GAINED in the same time frame! Give yourself a bit of credit, girlfriend.  YOU LOST TWO POUNDS !!!  At 11 months out, that's nothing to sneeze at!  We can't keep on losing at the rate we lost at right after surgery - the thing is, to KEEP losing, even just a little bit, or MAINTAIN!  To me, you are a RAGING SUCCESS!!!

Thanks sweetie!  I know, I know...it is just so much easier to beat myself up than to look at the positives that I came through the week with.
