Update on Pearl

I just want to let you know I just spoke with Pearl. She is in a great deal of pain. She said the end is very near. Her family is going to make her funeral arrangements tomorrow. The cancer is now in her lungs, breast, bones and her brain.  She has a wonderful doctor...he just got there and was going to hook up another pump for her. More medication. She seems at peace with this ........her family is behind her 100%. She said they have really come around and are being so caring and supportive. Bob...her ex....stays with her every night. He has made amends with her also. She is very weak and tried. She doesn't want to see anyone but wants me to check in occasionally and I certainly will do that. She has instructed her family to contact me when she passes. God Bless her!!  She was so concerned about my grandson Nic......that is so awesome at this difficult time for her to think of him. I will be telling him about this that is for sure. Here is Pearl's address if anyone wants to send her a card... Thanks for the update Connie. I am sad that this is happening to her. It certainly makes other things in life seem so small when others are facing things like Pearl is. I am happy to hear that she seems to be at peace. That is so important.

I will continue to keep her and her family in my prayers.

Connie, thanks for the update, I know most of you have no clue, but I live less than 1/2 mile from where Pearl is. I drive by, almost daily... I will say a prayer, and pass on good vibes, every chance I get.

I must have been hiding under a rock or too wrapped up in my own drama to know that Pearl was sick.  OMG!  I just don't know what to say - I feel horrible for her and her family!  Praise the Lord that she can find peace at this time.  Thank you for updating us and for her address.  I will send something along to her.
