At Walmart....
So I stopped at Walmart on the way home from work-those of you who shop there and like crystal lite know it is the cheapest place to buy the stuff by far.....I was at the Bloomington one and they had the white grape flaver...yummy! They also have the Special K protein water packets for 2 dollars a box right now for those of you who like that-I will drink it sometimes, but beware that it has 30 calories a packet, for 3 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber!
So here is a funny story-I was standing in line to check out and 2 guys were standing behind me, one turns to the other one and says, "remind me we have to go to Rainbow to buy Crystal lite after this"-of course I turn around and say-"why go to Rainbow? It is 2 dollars a box here!!".
He laughs and says thanks, he will come back to Walmart to buy it. His friend is like, man why Crystal lite? and he is explaining that he can have it because it is less than 10 calories a serving. I immediately ask him if he is going thru a bariatric program, and he says yes, trying to have surgery this fall at HCMC. I congratulate him and then tell him that they have great surgeons but they drop the ball on after care-that he should really look into PNC-and he says yup, he better because I am the second person this week who told him how great their program is!! anyway-it was funny. I of course was in my scrubs and wearing my PNC nametag, so it's kind of obvious that I am biased. I thought it was funny--I tend to be pretty out there pushing the surgery and PNC's program....who'dathunk? He probably thought I was nuts-but that's just the way I am nowadays-out there!!!

I love how those moments just HAPPEN to happen. Hehe. I hope I get opportunities to brag about surgery to someone who needs it some day. Hehehe.
Lynn~I think it is great that you were able to chat with the guy in line about your surgery! I am getting to the point where I no longer have a problem openly sharing about my surgery with people and I have found that it is really fun to see people's reactions.

I am in shock at how high CL prices are at cub and etc!
I am loving the white grape this summer.... its so light and I hate how red the others are. I will always get a drop on a white or light colored shirt!

That sounds interesting. My mom is a quilter and I have started to dabble in that a bit. I actually just went along with her and her quilters club on a bus trip to the Black Hills last week. While I was gone I picked up on embroidery. I really enjoy that and seem to be a natural! lol
I hadn't thought of knitting...I do like the Stitch N ***** though...lol
