Well -- I'm Home!!!

Good Lord, woman... my scar just twitched for ya! Yup, I've been through that twice.  My second obstruction came 10 months after the first one, because apparently the first one hadn't been sewn up thoroughly enough.  I seriously doubt Dr. Svendsen would make such a mistake - mine was done by a surgeon I had never met (and frankly, couldn't remember if I tried, I was so delirious!) at a hospital I had never been to.  It is, without a doubt, one of the most painful, miserable things a human can possibly go through.  GOOD CALL for getting yourself to the ER, although knowing how foggy I was from the pain, I can't even IMAGINE driving myself... OMG how awful!  I'm glad you are doing better now and they were able to fix you up. Thanks for posting this though - it's very good information to keep a watch for! (((Hugs for a speedy recovery))) Michelle

Thanks for all your posts gals.....I'm healing fine -- just tired today but I did get 8 hours of undisturbed sleep last night.  Just sitting today -- pain med's are working great today, got to shower finally, so things are getting better.  Trying to start weaning off the meds starting tomorrow cause I hate being this tired during the day. Thanks again.....
