Good Morning!  Is it Monday already!?!  I so did not want to get up this morning, however I think most of that was due in part to not getting to sleep until late (that is what I get for sleeping in yesterday)!  Well, anyways here we go.  Today I will...drink at least 100 ounce of fluid (CL and water), go to yoga and destress, send get well card to my uncle (he shattered one arm and broke the other after being bucked off one of his horses this weekend), prepare dinner for tomorrow (making a crockpot meal so need to cook meat ahead of time), and get to bed at a decent time (11:00 pm would be an improvement).  Yesterday I...drink at least 100 ounces of liquid (crystal light and water)--didn't do so good here only got in about 70 ounces as I got busy helping Mom with the party and forgot to drink, make good food choices (we are having a graduation/going away party for my brother)--I did fairly well here I had a hamburger patty with cheese, 1T potato salad, 1T mixed berries, 1T baked beans and a few chips, get in some exercise if there is time--nope although I made several trips (like 10) up and down the stairs...does that count, and spend time with family I don't always get to see--yes this was good a couple of them just couldn't get over my weightloss it made me feel really good and it was also nice to be able to talk about all the good stuff in my life as compared to a year ago when it was one crisis after another.

Morning!!!  The sun is out and housework be damned I'm getting out in it today!!!  I've got flowers to plant and a life to lead!  Roger is trying is level best to bring me down and I'm not going to let him!!!  Let the music of life ring out! Nicole, I'm so happy and excited for you!!  What a turn around from a year ago!!  FANTASTIC!! Here we go! Today I WILL: - drink water like it's going out of style! - remember the damn vitamins - my goodness it's not rocket science! - eat right and track it!        * 2 cups coffee
       * chicken thigh
       * 1-2T each KFC potatoes, beans and coleslaw - COOK so I *CAN* eat right - walk my tush off and boogie down the road... and bring back a bouquet of lilacs on the last trip! - ignore the negative and shine forth with the positive!!! Yesterday I: - concentrate on getting in plenty of water
I put my water bottles in the fridge and managed to get through all but one.  not too bad but room for improvement still - vitamins     why is this so darn hard to manage!!! - protein first!     *sigh*  been better but was good for over half the day - finish Domi's blanket!!!     YES!!! and it turned out great  :)  I made it out of some super soft yarn and used that old dishcloth pattern (grandmother's favorite garter stitch cloth) so it was quick and mindless to knit  :) - track my food     Too much food... and it was all at odd times.  I need to watch this!        * 2 cups coffee
       * 1 serving cream of wheat with 2%milk and 1/2 scoop PP
       * cold shrimp with ****tail sauce        * 20oz water        * 1/4 C lasagna         *1/4 hamburger patty        * 1/8th bun        * 1/4C baked beans        * too damn many potato chips        * SF triffle

Lori~Good for you for knowing and then doing what is best for you!  I nice warm sunny day is a good way to help stay positive when there seems to be a dark gloomy cloud inside (Roger).  Mmmm Lilacs...they are so pretty, but it is the one flower I am allergic to!  If you have a cell phone or Outlook email set up a calendar reminder that occurs each day at the time you need to take your vitamins this will help you remember and you can always snooze it if you are busy at the time and still get them in before bed!  Hope you have a great Monday and ejoy some sun for me!  ~Nicole

Happy Monday!  I'm actually glad to be back at work after 1 1/2 weeks off!  I know, I'm weird, but a big part of my depression recovery is staying on a routine and I'm glad to be back to my comfortable routine for that reason!  Now had I been going on a vacation (with planned activities), I would not have been so excited, but I digress... Today I will... 1) Stay at work all day unless my therapist calls and can see me this afternoon. 2) Drink at least 80oz of water (this should be easy now that I'm back on my routine). 3) Get in some form of exercise that does not include housework or shopping (this is *not* exercise no matter how much I try to rationalize it). 4) Start getting some work done instead of doing person stuff while at work.  Yesterday I... 1) Did crappy drinking my water as usual and I'm sick of this. 2) Did a wee little bit of laundry and housework. 3) Relaxed just fine - it was a nice end to my time off, but I have to remember my physics - an object at rest tends to stay at rest. Enjoy your day everyone!

Glad to hear you are back at work!  I agree with you about having a routine and depression.  I too have MDD and I had 3 weeks off--this was too much, but I had to go by doctor's order as I was on short term disability leave after 1 week, however I also learned that my depression worsens in the winter and my surgery was in December, but shortley after I got a SAD light and all was better!  Hope work goes well for you and is not too stressful!  I also hope you can find an exercise youenjoy it makes it a lot easier to exercise!
