Its part of the east metro itegrated district (www.emid6067.net). The elementary school is located in Roseville off 36 an Rice St (Harambee) which is grades K-5. Crosswinds is grades 6-10 and is located in Woodbury. They recruit students from St Paul, Maplewood, Oakdale, West St Paul (?) .... check the website. The idea is for urban kids and suburban kids to come together and learn together. I really like it. Why doesn't it go through 12th grade? Because most students in 8th grade will choose a high school based on where their friends are going (St Paul is open enrollment). Most kids by 10th grade will choose a high school that will enhance their areas of study. Each high school specializes in something - technology, medical science, etc. If you want more info, PM me.

Thereis one in Woodbury too. Goes from 6th grade until 10th grade. Then they can go to any high school.

I hear ya - I HATE the fighting. Drives me bonkers! We've been so busy this summer so far that I think it's going to just fly and be gone before we know it. My older two boys have baseball Monday and Tuesday nights and my little one has T-ball on Wednesday nights. Then we are going camping, they'll go to their Grandparents cabin for a week, I'm going to California and Las Vegas in 3 weeks...and that's only what I can think of right off. Hang in there - I can sure sympothize with the fighting though. My boys fight over the dumbest things like who gets to go first on Game Cube or "he called me poophead". @@ Sheesh! (((Hugs))) Michelle

Sandie, you know how to take care of you (breathe, breathe, breathe), although you're now working three jobs, so am wondering if you're away from those three little cuties more, that possibly they're subconsciously competing for some 'mommy' attention? Not knowing your work schedule, are you able to implement an activity plan with them? Especially some play-at-the park , long walks possible? where they can wear down some of their excess energy? Are you near a library where you could check out childrens' DVDs, if they'll sit through a movie? I've never had kids, though always enjoyed being 'favorite auntie' when nieces/nephews were small--had them on many overnights, and being single, always had the time to take them to parks, Valleyfair, former Camp Snoopy, even the play parks at McDonalds/Burger King-- Honestly sweetie, were I able to drive, I'd come up and help you out by even just taking them ouside to play...am praying for your 'sanity' during the trying times. You're sure right, 'this, too will pass.' You're just so awesome, I know your a fabulous mother and I know you love those cuties to pieces, although 'kids will be kids'.
