Nothing special today... feeling kind of blah.  If the weather holds we might go fishing later.  Roger got the boat all cleaned out last night and it looks great.  May need to buy a new battery though.  I just want to get out were it's peaceful and relax... away from everything. Today I WILL: - walk
- water     * 18oz CL
    * 20oz Dasani
    * 20oz coffee     * 18oz CL water
- track my food     * Went to OCB for breakfast and I had 1T scrambled egg with cheese sauce; 1 part of a country fried steak with gravy; tiny piece of watermelon; small piece of raisin bread; an 1/8 of an apple and about  2" of celery rib
    * 1 Kashi cracker for the salt - my blood pressure is messed up today
    *
- vitamins     AM: check
    PM: Yesterday I: - water
not so much - room for improvement - vitamins     AM: check     PM: check - walk     sure did!  met a nice guy as well so we talked about where we walk and what obstacles are there (aggressive dogs) - said he hoped to meet me again on his loop  - track my foods     not so good.  Roger and I took off with Gus to the dog park and lake.  We got a DQ cone on the way and ate lunch at Culvers.  Gus helped me with all mine  lol  He like ice cream... lol        * 2T Cottage cheese
       * 1/4C egg salad (only ate half)
       * slice flax grain bread (only ate half)        * small DQ vanilla cone        * chicken wing        * mashed potatoes        * 1/4 dinner roll        * 2 forks of cole slaw        * cold stone smallest strawberry blonde
       * I'm sure there was other stuff but I'm drawing a blank.
- clean off the organ
nope - clean the bedroom floor and take out dog crates.     got it all cleaned up but when I went to take crates out, it started to rain again.  Everything is stacked up though and ready to go out to storage. - maybe take Gus to the tat shop to see his "grandmom"      We did this and they were thrilled to see him  :)  Linda is talking about having a puppy reunion and get all the pups back together to see hwat they would do and to see how they have all grown.  Should be fun!!

It sounds like you're having a very nice weekend Lori.  I really need to continue working on finding enjoyable things to do now that all of my time is not centered around eating.  I know I'll get it - it's just a more difficult process than I had anticipated. I haven't been doing a fantastic job keeping up with my goals lately.  I think it might be because I'm really having struggles with adapting to my new lifestyle.  I have too many f*** it moments.  It seems like I'm so far behind everyone else and I feel so fat and even though I know I've had big payoffs already they don't seem like enough and oh yeah, I'm in a stall!  I really think that being with my extended family the next two weekends will help me feel happier though. Anyway... Today I will... 1.  Walk on the treadmill for at least 20 minutes (in one or two "sessions") 2.  Drink at least 60oz. water (I'm going to go to the basics until I consistently meet this and then try to push forward). 3.  Get the laundry done and start packing for 4th of July weekend trip. 4.  Get some more work done so that I feel confident when talking with my supervisor tomorrow. Yesterday I... 1) Drink at least 80oz. water. - No, barely got in 60oz. 2) Go for a walk with DH after dinner tonight. - no, he wanted to go geocaching, but I blew him off. 3) Try tuna and chicken to see if they agree with me. - tried both and they both stayed down.  I don't like chicken thighs though.  Threw away the leftovers.  Will try breast meat in the next few days to see if I can keep that down. 4) Plan meals for the rest of this week and go to store to make purchases. - no, didn't do this.  Worked hard until dinner time (which made me tired) and then didn't like dinner so got depressed and blew off the rest of the day.

Jen~I think you are making a good choice with your water goal, especially since your tummy is still so small and cannot hold a lot of anything including water.  One thing to be careful with when cooking the breast meat is to make sure that it is very, very moist.  When I cook mine I usually do it in a skillet on the stove.  I will spray the pan with olive oil spray and put the chicken in and season, then about 2 minutes later I add some water to the pan enough to boil, but doesn't cover the meet completely I continue to add water when it boils down for the entire time it is cooking which I think is about 30 minutes or so.  I have found this to be the best way for me at least to have chicken that desn't get stuck.  I am like you through in that I really don't like any other part of the chicken than the breast.  Others have cooked it in a crockpot with some chicken broth and water or if you bake it in the oven make sure you put a cake pan with water on the other shelf as well to help it stay moist.  I hope this helps and that you have a better day today!  Love & Hugs! It'll come... and yeah, easier said than done.  But just keep at it and you will see  :) And that stall at approx 3 weeks just about broke my heart.  It seems many folk**** that one. Did you take measurements??  You are losing inches.  When I hit a stall, it was my body catching up and redistributing the weight.  I would take my measurements and BAM!  inches GONE! So how's the water going?  Have one by your side?? *hugs*

Wow!  You were productive yesterday and it sounds like you had a good day despite the rain!  Congrats on getting your vitamins in you have been doing great with that lately!  An afternoon on the lake sounds like a dream to me right now!  I love the water, but with my Dad's knee the way it is getting in and out of a boat is nearly impossible.  Luckily he is having knee replacement surgery August 11th so next summer should be a go.  Today I will...get in at least 80 ounces, but 100 ounces would be better of water, eat meals not snacks, exercise--most likely run/walk since I need to get my butt moving so I am ready for the 5K in less than a month, get the rest of my living room put together (take empty boxes to the trash, put up decorations, vaccuum, and dust), clean the rest of the house (need to get a Swiffer mop for the kitchen & bathroom), cook & package single servings of meatloaf and pork tenderloin, see what my sister is up to and maybe hang out with her, be patient and not get hopes too high about the guy who asked if I want to go out this week, and get to bed before midnight.   Yesterday I....did n't get a chance to post.

Hiya!  Sounds like you've been busy too!!

Let me get used to this boat and when you come up we girls can head out on the water  :)  I promise not to swamp us!  lol  Sure hope your Dad's surgery goes well.  It sucks after years of being active to have to slow down.  My dad went through something like that.  boy was he grouchy!  lol

*hugs* to you... are you going to dinner Thursday to see Sue?  Roger and I may come down... a good steak sounds awfully good!  When I mentioned it to Rog, he's like so you girls get a table and order one prime rib and 10 forks??  lol

Yep, I have been a busy little bee trying to get the rest of my apartment put together ( a month after living it, it's about time).  I hope you were able to get out on the lake today it was beautiful here and I hope it was there as well!  I'd love to go for a boat ride some time!  Yes, I fear my Dad is going to be super grumpy because he will have to miss duck and goose hunting this year due to his surgery, although luckily he should be good to go come deer season which is is main concern.  I am not sure yet about Thursday night as I might be heading down to my sister's for the weekend and I would like to head out right after work since it is a 3 hour drive.  I will know more once my Mom lets me know if they are doing anything and I can then decide what to do.

Lori, LOL!  That's the same thing my DH said.  I told him, "No.  They'll probably share an appetizer."  I'm starting to feel like I want to go out to eat again.  I'm still at the point where it doesn't make much sense since I can't eat much of anything, but I'm starting to get bored with preparing 3 meals a day for myself (not that a piece of string cheese and some fruit takes much preparation, but hey).  I'm doing pretty well on the water today.  I think I'll make the 60oz. goal.  I did take measurements pre-op, but have no plans to take them again in the immediate future.  I'm only slightly bothered by the stall because I knew to expect it and I am lucky because I can see the weight coming off.  Others have noticed that they see it in my face (which is the most obvious) and DH and I notice that I'm growing a lap (as my stomach shrinks).  My current clothes are a bit baggy but I'll be able to wear them for a while yet, but this morning I dug out a patriotic top from my closet that got just a wee bit too small last year.  It fits me well now (but I like things long and baggy) - so, I'll probably wear it sometime next weekend since I'm quite sure it won't fit next year.  The boat trip sounds great and I may very well take you up on your offer to go out next year.  My parents have a boat and live on a lake and I can't wait until I feel comfortable enough getting in and out of the boat from the dock again (possibly later this summer - we'll see).  I just *love* going for boat rides and boating on Lake Superior would be SUPER cool! Good luck with your exercising to get ready for your 5K Nicole.  I'm sure you'll be ready in no time.
