Home Sweet Home!  Gotta love it!  Good morning everyone.  I sure missed all of you.  I had a blast in Minnesota and I could NOT have been treated any better.  Lucy's family is wonderful and I MISS THEM!  I miss LUCY!  I have to tell myself, 2 weeks!  LOL  I hope you all slept as good as I did.  I had jet lag yesterday from only 3 hours sleep.  I'm rested now and feeling WONDERFUL this morning.  I know you are too! Our challenge today is to be a light.  Let someone see the good in you today.  So many times, we walk around grumpy and ill, showing our bad side.  Today, let's let the GOOD side of us shine.  Be a light to someone.  Help someone that needs help.  Let me share this.  In Ohare airport, this country boy (me) needed help finding my way around.  I WAS LOST!  I asked 3 different ticket agents to help me, 2 totally ignored me, one threw his hands in the air and said someone else will help you.  FINALLY after walking more, a young 19-21 year old young man helped me and told me exactly where to go.  He let his light shine even in HIS OWN BUSY time.  I thanked him and even gave him $5 for a tip.  He wouldn't take it, but I made him.  He let his light shine in a dark spot for me.  You'll never know how much YOU will SHINE if you just do something nice for someone.  Let your light shine today.  Don't let anyone blow it out!  You CAN do this challenge!   So, who's up?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm LOVING me some awesome Seatle's Best JavaNilla.  I LOVE THIS STUFF! Ya'll have a wonderful Monday that is FULL OF LIGHT!

What a wonderful little story -- I always tell my kids and grandchild -- pretend your mother is behind you watching you (of course with the eyes in the back of our heads) and treat strangers in a way that would make her proud.  I see it all the time with my daughters and grandson -- running ahead to hold doors, picking up something someone dropped and running it to them, helping someone across a busy intersection, etc.  That young mans mother would be proud!!!!

That's a great, but sad story, Randy - that the staff at the airport weren't helpful?  Pathetic.  THANK GOODNESS a kind soul was put in your path!  The cool thing about being helpful to others is that for as much as THEY might appreciate your act of kindness, the feeling you get from being able to do something for another is ten times better!  I may be too much of a bubblehead to help out every chance I can, but I do try to be there whenever I'm alert to it! You rock, Randall... you really, truly do.

Randall~I have flown into that airport as well and boy is it confusing!  I am sorry that you had such a difficult time trying to get directions to where you needed to be it is sad that people can't seem to take the time to help another when they need it.  I do my best to help others when I am able.  I hope that today I can help someone and let my light shine!  Glad you got home safe!
