7/01 Today I will...

Good Morning!   I had to think twice as I typed in the date today, I can hardly believe that it is July already!  Well, they are calling for temps in the 90's today so everyone becareful to avoid heat exhaustion and dehydration!  Well here we go.   Today I will...get in at least 100 oz of water/CL, make wise food choices, exercise (not sure what depending on the weather it maybe something inside), journal my food, go to my check up for my contacts, pick up prescription refill,do laundary, and be in bed by or before midnight. Yesterday I...drink at least 100 ounces of liquid (CL or water)--yupe I actually got in around 110 oz, stick to food plan for the day--did good the first 1/2 of the day then shopping and pampering threw it all off, go to yoga and possibley run/walk depending on how I feel tonight--went to yoga, and did some arm exercises with free weights, got home too late to do anything else, eat mindfully--for the most part yes, get back to recording food in journal (I got away from it this weekend)--yep and it is listed below, and get to bed before midnight--nope ended up getting to bed around 12:30 or 12:45.

July already... wow.  Hope you guys are thinking about coming to dinner to see Sue on Thursday.  I'll be there with Roger.  He drives  :) and besides, I can make him order a nice steak and then I'll just mooch some  lol 
Have a super day!  Stay cool!!  I'll be out baking  :)  need to get that last bit of suntan in before going back into that damn glass-less building  :(  I HATE security buildings....  but at least I can go out on my breaks and lunch and walk!!  if the bubble wrap is better lol

    * ouch - dratted numbness.  The blisters feel like that large bubble wrap  :)  Really strange feeling but they are better this morning.  I'll be doing something else for exercise for a few days.  I still managed to make it 6901 steps on the pedometer yesterday. - drink my liquids (may as well list this honestly!)     * 20oz coffee

- find time to relax - either out in the boat or drag my dulcimer out and play     well, the walk kind of put this on hold.  I did sit and watch a couple of episodes of Stargate...  I find I"m liking that show and the fact I got 5 seasons of it on DVD for $30 made it even more attractive  :)  lol  I really need to get that dulcimer out though and work on learning it.  Nicole, I don't actively play it as I'm just learning... someday I'll make pretty music on it though!  My preferred instrument is a keyboard.  I've been playing on and off since I was 4  :)

Lori~WTG on getting your vitamins in consistently over the past couple of days!  I can bet that your feet feel pretty weird to walk on right now.  Soaking up some sun sounds nice...also a good way to stock up on Vitamin D!   Good luck with learning to play the dulcimer I have heard that once you know how to play the keyboard that many other instruments are easier.   I hope you have a nice relaxing day and enjoy the weather!

Lori~I am heading down to Iowa on Thursday night so unfortunately I will not be able to make it.  However I think we should plan a get together sometime when I am up your way!  I go up to Hinckley quite often to visit my parents so maybe I will have to extend my weekend sometime and jaunt on up to Duluth and visit you!

That sounds great!  If we wanted to meet for lunch I know that Tobies has some great summer salads (I used to work there when I was in HS).  Let me know what your calendar looks like and hopefully we can get together sometime soon!

My calendar is generally pretty empty - except for running with dogs and stuff.  the 12th I have my grandson's b-day party... that is really about it!  The 18th is my 30 year reunion so I may not be worth much on the 19th  lol  although I don't really drink anymore so it shouldn't be a big deal  :)  I'm still not even sure I"ll go.  I'm supposed to work and have no leave left. I'd have to call in dead...  not sure yet...  *shrug*  lol *hugs*

Okay, I am not sure when I will be up in Hinckley this month because next weekend is the reunion/party for the theatre department where I went to school the first time (UW-River Falls).  It may end up being the weekend of the 18/19 because then the weekend after that is my race.  So, I think we should probably just play it by ear! Good luck with the dinner on Thursday I am sure that things will be okay, because you know everyone to some degree so at least some of the newness is gone, that and someone usually brings name tags!   Love & Hugs! Good morning ladies!  Ack!  I was so disgusted to hear the weather report for today.  I can't stand the heat and humidity.  Oh well, it's appropriate for July. Today I will... 1) Drink at least 80oz. water. 2) Have a productive day at work. 3) Clean out my car and throw out the trash (still have fast food wrapper remnants of my past life and it needs to go) 4) Do a load of laundry. 5) Water my flowers instead of letting them scorch and die. 6) E-mail my sister in law and cousin - trying to be a better and more supportive family member. Didn't post any goals for yesterday, so I am off the hook.  Lori,  I don't think that I will make it to Outback on Thursday evening.  Not that anyone has been judgmental around here, but I'm still really self-conscious and not sure I'm up to face to face meetings yet.    I have a hard time meeting new people. Enjoy your day!

Do what you are comfy with!!  I'd love to see you face to face and believe it or not I'm painfully shy...  I don't do well in group situations unless I"m in charge of them... I can run a meeting for 300 but have trouble at a table of 4.  lol  I know... I"m weird  :) thanks for the reminder on the flowers!!  I should go out and do that as well... I have some recent transplants that need a boost! Might light up the BBQ while I"m out there and do up some more cheddarwurst  :)  that was good yesterday and that was only nuked!  lol
