Sort of random bottled water question

OK, so before surgery, I drank Nestle Pure Life bottled water pretty regularly, we've been getting really good deals on it. Now, for some reason, it just does not taste right to me. I remember my mom having a similar quirk and we all thought that Aquafina tasted gross but the salt in it appealed to her afterwards. So I'm wondering, does anyone else have bottled water preferences? What are they?  No, I'm really not insane!

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but I prefer tap water!  The tree-hugger in me has issues with the plethora of bottled waters out there - oh, I drink 'em 'cuz they ARE convenient!  But when there's a tap handy, I always have my water bottle (and drink mix-ins) handy!  More economical AND ecologically friendly!

I'm a little scared of tap water, lol. My mom to this day can't drink plain tap water, and she's nearly 10 years out. (Then again, my mo couldn't drink anything hot or cold for months after surgery and I could drink cold water the day OF surgery, so it's entirely possible that things will be different if I ever get the nerve to try it, lol) We have to double-filter water for her to drink it, lol. With mix-ins, the nestle water is fine, but I keep feeling like I should be drinking some plain water, lol.

When I drink bottled it has to be Dasani.  I can't stomach the others  lol I will drink tap water if it's softened...and I can taste immediately if the salt in the softener is low.  My mom used to think I was nuts  :)  *shrug* *hugs*

I am with Darla on the tap water, I think it tastes better. But as far as bottled I think Cold Mountain or is it Springs??? and Cub taste the best, not as chemically tasting to me.  Isn't it funny how our tastes change. For a long time I HATED toothpaste of all things!

Funny that you hated toothpaste!  I have an Aunt who to this day refuses to brush her teeth with toothpaste (not sure what she uses) because it makes her gag.  Glad you got over it!

I am a bottled water snob. It has to be either Ice Mountain or Evian, or I won't drink it. And the tap water here(runs out of St. Paul) tastes like feet :P

And I think Aquafina tastes like soap. I will drink that if it is really REALLY cold, and I have a Crystal Lite to-go packet to put inside.

I cant drink anything that says 'spring water'.  Makes me want to hurl..  Our TAP water stinks and tastes minerally of which I think is yucky..  Hubby doesnt have a problem with it. I find that I like anything that is purified by reverse osmosis ie: aqua fina, dasani, roundys (rainbow) brand.  Nice and chilly... ALSO...  Dasani has a new vitamin water out that I find tasted very good compared to the others and they have ZERO calories.  Dasani PLUS is what they are called.  I am particularly fond of the Blackberry pomegranite... YUMMMMMMM!!

I'm a total water snob.  HATE Aquafina and Dasani.  My favorite is IceMountain - crisp, clean and refreshing.  I will also drink the Target and Holiday brands too and Nestle isn't bad.  But even if I use Crystal Lite in Aquafina or Dasani it just tastes gross!

I usually just drink tap water.  I have one of those PUR filter things on my kitchen tap and the water tastes good that way, and I usually mix in one of those flavored things.  I rarely buy bottled water, but if I do, or if someone has it at a get-together, I can drink whatever brand as long as it's cold!
