Update about stuff

I never did hear from Vegas PD today, so I'm taking that as a sign that someone else was the favored person.  I am NOT bummed about this.  I got to see their LAB, meet some people, see a snipit of Vegas, and I don't have to struggle with some extremely stressful decisions.  They made it totally easy for me.

I had a BAND fill, as mentioned, on Thursday.  HCMC would not go higher than 7ccs and that apparently was the biggest barrier in the process.  Dr. Leslie put me up to 8 and wants me to come back Monday for 9.  But since my 8 I am FINALLY feeling the restriction I've been begging for.  There have been NO problems...only feeling like it's finally working.  I had a half cup of soup for lunch today and it filled me up and I wasn't hungry until dinner.  I ate 4 MINI tacos (Awesome from Trader Joes...) for dinner and I've been full all night.  I'm thinking I want to try this level and not go to 9 right now, but at least I now have that OPTION.  Finally after more than a YEAR...whodathunk?

So I'm not sure if HCMC would be open to change, but for revisions they really need to consider it.  It's a NEW day.

I am so glad to hear that you have restriction!! It's a great feeling. It sometimes doesn't last for long the first time around but if you are feeling it now... you are at least close to your sweet spot. I am there too right now.

FINALLY!!!!  Congrats Paul!  Your persistence and willingness to try other avenues has finally paid off for you.  So happy for you!

WAY happy for your 8ccs and the feeling of restriction for you!  Being proactive about your own situation seems to be paying off for you - and for that, I'm really happy! 

As for LV?  Maybe not hearing was a non-offer, or maybe not hearing was them just not getting on the ball as quickly as they anticipated.  Maybe they are waiting for someone else to accept an offer, it's hard to say.  I just hope that they'll have enough respect to communicate with you, one way or the other, SOON!  Nothing more frustrating or disrespectful than letting someone hang...
