How to Calculate your 'HAPPY WEIGHT'... (JUST FOR FUN)
Congrats on being at your ideal weight! I guess the main thing is that you're HAPPY with your weight loss!
I sorta think that 'set point' (see the article before this one..)-- where your body decides what weight you should be--does play a part of what number you ultimately end up at. I think of Linda Anne and others who lose beyond what the medical profession deems 'ideal'. I think their bodies stabilize at the weight they oughta be.
((And correct me if I am wrong, please, Linda Anne and Sandie!))
I would like to meet you also, Bonnie!
Have a good weekend!
I got 160, I think I did it right.
I honestly, can't imagine ever, ever, ever weighing 160. I guess also coming from a starting weight of 397, that just seems really untainable and a goal I honestly don't think I would ever strive for. I know many people have lost 100's of pounds, but I just can't imagine. But you never know, I can't imagine being under 300 pounds and at 3 months old I am 16 pounds away from that. Maybe as the weight comes off 160 would seem more realistic.

This is REALLY INTERESTING! My "happy weight" calculated out to 174. I think I'll be GIDDY once I go below 200! My random number to shoot for has been 185, but even that seems a bit unrealistic for me right now...
I wonder if this takes into consideration the denser bones of the formerly fat, as well as the excess skin? I'd guess not... which might make my 185 just about right!
